Wow, can you imagine that it's already the end of September? It feels like just a few days ago that we were getting over the hot summer!
As October looms over us, it is time for us to get ready for the spooky Halloween holiday at the end of the month! As we are decorating our place, we came across a simple DIY idea, and thought we would go ahead and share it with you! But before we dive into showing you the DIY, our weekend hours are as follows:
Saturday, September 29 10:00 AM-1:45 PM
Sunday September 30 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Come join us in celebrating the end of another magical month by bringing your kids to play!
Traditional Jack o' Lanterns rot pretty quickly, and kids don't get as much fun decorating them, since they aren't able to carve the designs out themselves. Instead, using cut out pieces of paper, felt, cotton, pipe cleaners, paint, glue, and other kid-friendly craft materials to decorate your pumpkins will make this project much more kid friendly! To make the pumpkins glow, just have an adult coat it with some glow-in-the-dark paint or spray paint!
Here are some examples we found online that we thought were extremely cute. The possibilities are endless!
We hope you have lots of fun getting creative with how to decorate your pumpkins this year! We will see you soon!
